AANKAL S.A. was founded in 1984.

It has a 35-year presence in the IT and office equipment market.

Starting with the production and marketing of printing consumables , it proceeded to the distribution of a comprehensive range of branded consumables, accessories and peripherals for computer and office equipment and then expanded into notable partnerships with branded digital systems companies for scanning, processing, storage and digital output/distribution of images and data.

In the late 1980’s, ANKAL S.A. also entered the market for miniature, digital media and applications for analog and digital data and image processing. This activity developed rapidly in the mid-1990s when strategic agreements were concluded with major foreign companies such as ANACOMP™, BELL + HOWELL™, POLAROID™, KONICA- MINOLTA™, MICROBOARDS and RIMAGE™ . These collaborations ensured to ANKAL S.A. the right of exclusive distribution and support of the products of these companies in Greece and Cyprus.
