“After 40 years, I’m back to my roots and the neighborhood where I grew up. Back then, my neighborhood was called Kalamaki, and today it is part of the Municipality of Alimos. My memory associates it with the smell of the sea and the carefree atmosphere of my childhood.

The Municipality of Alimos, a beautiful municipality, offers its citizens modern transport and routes, nice seaside bars/restaurants, restaurants, marinas, but also parks and shops as well as modern services such as those for recycling.

The connection with the center of Athens is very easy via tram, metro, or bus, while the cultural events of the Faliro Delta and the Stavros Niarchos Foundation are within walking distance.

I had a strong desire to talk about Kalamaki and by extension about the Municipality of Alimos. To address the whole world!

The Municipality has never been a modern tourist destination and I thought to contribute to make it so. It is located in an amazing spot by the sea between Glyfada, P. Faliro and the redevelopment projects of the old airport in Elliniko. Alimos is an essential link for the promotion of the Athenian Riviera! It has so far avoided the deterioration of the aesthetics of the buildings from excessive building, something that unfortunately the other neighbouring municipalities have not managed to do. Its beauty is highlighted by its architecture, its natural coastline towards the Saronic Sea in continuation of the other municipalities from Glyfada to Kastela and through its history as the birthplace of Thucydides. Sunsets accompany afternoon walks of the citizens and visitors and in the background Aegina, Salamina and Piraeus.

My wish came true with the creation of Scale suites. Scale suites is not just a tourist accommodation, it is a well thought out place, a service centre, where the people make every effort to make the best use of the time spent by visitors in this beautiful suburb.
