Florentia Samara is a Specialist in General Medicine – Homeopathic – specialized in pain mesotherapy (medical acupuncture – wet needling).

She was born in Famagusta, Cyprus and graduated from Agios Georgios Lyceum in Larnaca.
She entered the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and successfully completed her studies.
She obtained the medical specialty of general family medicine after four years of training at the Georgios Gennimatas Regional General Hospital.
During her studies she attended the three-year programme
of the Hellenic Society of Homeopathic Medicine, of which she is a regular member.
She also attended the two-year program of the international academy
Classical Homeopathy of Professor George Vythoulkas. as well as the two-year program of basic training in classical homeopathy of the Department of Systems Design of the University of the Aegean.
She was trained in acupuncture at the acupuncture institute of Northern Greece, successfully completing a three-year program
Also, in order to gain a more comprehensive view on human psychology and behavior, she attended the five-year program in systemic psychotherapy at the Family Psychotherapy Unit at the Psychiatric Hospital of Attica.

She participated in many workshops and medical conferences as a keynote speaker.

She is a member of the Scientific Societies:

 Hellenic Society of Homeopathic Medicine (EEOI).
 Hellenic Acupuncture Society.
 Mesotherapy Society
 Hellenic Society of General Family Medicine (“Elegya”), of which she served as Chairman of the Disciplinary Board.
Apart from her activity as a homeopathic physician in her personal practice in Alimos, she works as a General Practitioner in the Emergency Department of the “Medifirst Alimos” Polyclinic, where she is also the scientific head of the General Medicine Department.
