The love for photography at Photovekris is a family affair. With 4 state-of-the-art photographic studios in Athens, the Vekris family has built its own little photographic tradition.
The first photo studio was opened in 1974 in Agios Dimitrios by Mr. Antonis Vekris, a teacher and photography expert. Antonis Vekris Photo Studio in 1980, is the 1st photo studio in Greece that delivers color photographs, with its own equipment for film development in 1 hour. The resourceful Antonis Vekris is at the same time, the first nightclub photographer, who photographs patrons and delivers their photos in one hour. His two daughters, Maria and Popi, inherited their father’s love of photography and have deservedly continued the family tradition!
Maria and Popi, as well as their husbands Panos and Giannis, are now behind the 4 state-of-the-art Photovekris.
