He studied at the Medical School of the University of Athens and specialised in Orthopaedics at the University Orthopaedic Clinic of the KAT Hospital. He was retrained in sports injuries – arthroscopic surgery and in elbow-shoulder surgery (Gateshead – Reading U.K.), which is his speciality. In addition, in recent years he has been developing computer-assisted surgery (navigator-CAOS), especially in knee arthroplasty. For 11 years he was for 11 years Ann. Director at the E. Dunant Hospital. Then for 3.5 years he was Director of Orthopaedics – Department of Arthroscopic Surgery at the Athens Medical Centre – P. Faliro Clinic. From February 2015 to November 2018 he was Director of Orthopaedics-Arthroscopic Surgery and Sports Injuries at the Metropolitan Hospital and since December 2018 he is Director of the 2nd Orthopaedic-Sports Medicine Clinic at the Paleo Faliro Medical Center.
