The Southern Judo Academy is a brand new, ultra-modern sports club of 200 sq.m. in which the martial arts of Judo, Aikido and Taiho-Jutsu (Self-Defense) are taught for ages from 4 to 80+! Our aim is to cultivate the spirit, self-confidence, discipline, mutual respect, teamwork, cooperation and generally all those elements that are necessary for the complete formation of the character of young children. Following strict protocols of education, learning and coaching, we place special emphasis on the proper development of all the psychomotor skills of our young judoka and the proper assimilation of the technical and tactical infrastructure of judo, in order to create a masterful future! With us, renowned coaches graduates of Sports Academy. and certified by the General Secreteriat for Sports led by Takis Vakatasis 6th Dan, with International and National sporting and coaching successes, as well as Vasiliki Lyberopoulou 2nd Dan with International and National sporting successes!

The Aikido instructor is Sensei Kostas Giannas 4th Dan Aikikai, an accomplished Aikikai teacher and one of the first Aikidoka in Greece. In Taiho-Jutsu the instructor is Sensei Vangelis Makris 3rd Dan Keisatsu.

In our school there are also Pilates, Yoga and Prenatal Yoga classes with the instructors: Eleanna Papakyriakou, Eleni Dimitrakopoulou, Despina Tsakiri, Stella Papatheodorou.
